Construction Specs
All of our kits are built to code, made of only the finest materials. They include freestanding post and pier floor systems with fully insulated, duel glazed doors and windows. Units include 30 year warranty composite roof shingles and full doug fir 2 x 4 wall and truss systems. Standard siding is T1-11 but units can be upgraded with either cedar shake shingles or lap board siding.
Installation
Once our standard factory produced units hit your doorstep they are ready to assemble. While we do offer local installation services, you'll find that our installation guide makes it a snap to do yourself if you have a bit of construction know-how. The standard units can be installed in aslittle as 3 three days however with custom modifications it could take a few days more. All in all, it couldn't be easier to enjoy your new backyard space. Wiring & Plumbing
Yes, it is easy to wire and/or plumb our cottages. The units are designed with a freestanding floor system so it is very easy to install any electric or plumbing you might need right through the floor system. The base cottage packages come with a heavy duty contractors electrical cord (50' or 100') and plugs directly into a 6 port power strip to give you six outlet hookups instantly.
Warranty
Our structures are coveredby a 5-year manufactur's warranty against defects inmaterials & workmanship. Natural characteristics of wood, knots & grain are excluded.
